The Amalfi & Hennessey are not up to the mark. The longevity of them is also very poor.
Amalfi coast - This one is good but has potential to be better! The bergamot and the lemon stand out in the top note. The amber is there but not quite prominent. The musk is definitely there and the faintest whiff of jasmine. The musk basically lingers as the base note settling into a light patchouli base. It kind of reminds me of the men deodorants like it has that typical citrusy note but maybe a tad more elevated than a normal deodrant. I like it for sure but wasn't wowed by it. It lasted on my skin for 5 hours and on my clothes for near about 7 hours.
Henessy smoke - it's just as the name suggests. The leather in the top notes definitely comes through. It settles down to a lingering patchouli base which balances out the fragrance. It smells kind of like you just stepped into a store which stocks those expensive leather bags and it is not in a bad way. The smoky leathery note is just very well balanced by that creamy base note of patchouli. It's absolutely beautiful, I just can't stop sniffing it! That leathery top note is so addictive! It's smokey, the spice is well balanced, it's not in-your-face-spicy! Very classy yet giving the fragrance a grounded edge! I'll definitely purchase full bottle of this. It stayed for about 7 hours on my skin and have a decent projection.
Vanilla velvet - The first spritz is pretty much like any cheap vanilla fragrance. But I couldn't smell the cocoa. Instead I got this paan masala-ish type note in the first whiff. Besides the vanilla I got a very slight touch of chocolate maybe or it can be a placebo, like you have to smell really hard to get the actual chocolate note and then as it starts to settle I could smell the amber and patchouli, unfortunately the amber in it is very dominant that it was kind of a bummer. The musk here is pretty much non-existent. I just can't make out that there got to be something that is messing with the fragrance, is it the amber that has completely overwhelmed the actual vanilla or the lack of the musk that could have balanced the fragrance? After it completely settles down you'll get a very faint whiff of the cinnamon and the creamy patchouli starts lingering. Stayed on for a solid 10 hours. Also I feel like this one REALLY projects! I wish the vanilla here could be a little more prominent rather than the amber.
Musky oud - This is my most favourite out of all and I'm not even an oud lover! It smells straightup expensive. The spice and the wood intermingling into this heavenly concoction that is giving me like you're entering a villa with very expensive woodwork done and you're suddenly hit by those spices. As you go deeper, you're greeted by the amber and the leather. The amber here is way better than the one in the vanilla velvet. It's deeper yet delicate enough to let the woody note shine. This one is just absolutely amazing! It's just very classy, elegant and very very stimulating in the best way!! This maybe a night time fragrance or a winter fragrance but I don't really mind wearing this one in the morning. I'll be purchasing a full bottle of this one like for sure! This one stayed for about 10 hours on my skin. It has a really good projection also!
